AL ROUDAN FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT - KUWAIT: 20/07/2011
Al Roudan Annual Ramadan Football Tournament was started in the 70s by the late Mr. Hasan Kamal, who used to organize it every year, during the Holy Month of Ramadan, under the name of “Al Da’iya Tournament”. The Tournament was very casually organized, with volunteers participating in the preparations & games, and was supported and
Since that year onward, the Tournament witnessed major metamorphosis and development, especially through the annual participation of Kuwait’s football stars along other regional and international professional teams.
The Tournament took its official name in 1980, after the passing away of Mr. Abdullah Mishari Al Roudan, on 30 December 1979, and the cordial acceptance of Al Roudan Family to uphold the entire adoption of this Tournament.

SOCCEREX 2011 RIO DE JANEIRO - BRAZIL: 20/11/2011
This year, 26-30 November, the Soccerex Global Convention returns to the ‘Marvellous City’ of Rio de Janeiro for its second year in the spiritual home of football.
The Convention kicked off on the white sands of Copacabana beach with legends of the game taking part in the Soccerex Football Festival, with the Brazilian legends team beating the Dutch in the final to take home the trophy. The two-day event saw players such as Ruud Gullit, Denílson, Jorginho and Romario in attendance.
