The Convention kicked off on the white sands of Copacabana beach with legends of the game taking part in the Soccerex Football Festival, with the Brazilian legends team beating the Dutch in the final to take home the trophy. The week event saw players such as Ruud Gullit, Denílson, Jorginho and Romario in attendance.
